Miners Court Extra Care
Miners Court in Redruth is the only Extra Care scheme in mid and west Cornwall and is here to provide a home for life for older people.
The development consists of 64 flats and is based in the centre of Redruth. It has Care and Support Assistants on-site 24 hours a day and is designed to allow residents to live independently in self-contained homes, whilst having the reassurance of full-time on-site care and support if needed.

Moving to Miners Court
If you are interested in Extra Care housing at Miners Court you will must meet certain criteria.
To qualify you must have the need for an eligible care and support package, or already have one in place.
We recommend you visit Miners Court to see the scheme and discuss your individual needs with our expert care team. They can give lots of help and advice about applying for a flat, so please contact us to make an appointment.

We have two flats available within Miners Court which provide short term accommodation for rehabilitation after illness or stays in hospital. Please contact us for more information.
This is open for residents and non-residents to come in for a range of hair and beauty treatments. Please call 01209 200829 for further details and a price list.
A luxury assisted bathroom and wetroom is available for independent use, or with the assistance of a fully trained Support Assistant. It costs £2.50 a bath, plus £11.35 for 30 minutes of Support Assistant time if requested.
Day centre and drop-in services:
Our Forever Young Social Hub is open to residents and non-residents. Everyone coming along can use our communal facilities to socialise, make friends and combat loneliness. This costs £7 per day.
If you think you might need help paying for care and support you should contact Cornwall Council.
Its Adult Social Care department will provide an assessment on request. An occupational therapist will visit to look at your current home and needs, then discuss what options are available.
